It is therefore there, in this town which cultivates the French way of life so well, and with a past steeped in history and culture, that Mathias Mansis – a local child – chose to set up his cellar.
Passionate about wine, the young man naturally turned to oenology studies, then completed his career with studies in the wine and spirits business. With diplomas in hand, he worked as a sommelier in various establishments in Courchevel before deciding to strike out on his own.
The selection offered at “La Cave de Mathias” is extremely rigorous with a panel allowing buyers to have a real insight into what the “Chateauneuf-du-Pape” appellation really is.
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Only people over the age of 18 can consume alcoholic beverages.
After you have parked in the village which has car parks available, take the direction of the town hall which is located in a street which goes up to the church of the village in one direction, La Cave de Mathias is located at the crossroads of rue Joseph Ducos and rue du Maréchal Foch.
