Gundolf

Our hotel is situated in the middle of the mountains, at the end of the Pitztal, the center for hiking tours and winter sports. The highest mountain of Tyrol is quasi in front of our door, Wildspitze 3.774 m where you can climb up in the summer as also in the winter. The Pitztaler Glacier is 2 km and the Riffelsee skiing and hiking area is 800 m away from our hotel. The free hiking and skiing bus stops 10m in front of the hotel. As our hotel is situated 1600 m high, it is the best starting point for hiking tours in the summer and in the winter we have reliable snow conditions. Arrival by car Arrival: on highway A12, when you come from Germany, Switzerland or Italy, take exit Pitztal. When you arrive through the Fernpass you just pass Imst and follow the signs for Pitztal. Follow the only street in Pitztal, pass St. Leonhard and drive further to Tieflehn – the first house on the left side is the Hotel Gundolf. You can plan and print your personal route plan here. Arrival by train and bus When you take the train your endstation is called - IMST PITZTAL - where normally all Trains stopp. From the train station you can take the so called Postbus to the Hotel, they depart almost hourly. Please give us a short message when you want to arrive with the bus, then we will send you by e-mail a voucher and you do not have to pay the bus from the train station to the hotel.
