Vicus Caprarius and the Fountains of Rome

Join us and let's explore together the most famous fountains of the Italian capital and the history behind them! From our office, in Via del Cardello 31, we will go straight to Piazza Venezia, where we will admire the famous “Altare della Patria” and the symmetrical fountains of the Tyrrhenian and the Adriatic. Continuing with our tour, we will find the Turtle Fountain, built between 1581 and 1588 on a project by Giacomo della Porta. Next, we will arrive at Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful squares in Rome, where we will see the Fountain of the four rivers designed by Bernini. The next stop will be the very famous Trevi fountain, perhaps the most famous fountain in the world. The last but not least important stop is the Vicus Caprarius or the city of water, an underground aqueduct, located under the Trevi Fountain.
