A breath taking formation of the longest single curtain of continuous falling water in the world which falls down the gorge at a height of 180 metres at it's peak. The 1,708 metres wide water falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Locally known as the Mosi-Oa-Tunya,which means "the smoke that thunders". One can see the mist from many miles away and hear the thunder of the plunging water in the gorge at a distance of about 200 metres.
You learn the myths and facts of the once revered shrine. A shower of blessings from the mist is an interesting experience not to miss.
Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels
