The park is located northeast of Ho Chi Minh City and can be reached in a few hours by car. It is one of Vietnam’s biosphere reserves and was recognized by UNESCO as the 411th reserve in 2001. The park covers 70,548 hectares and spans three provinces: Dong Nai, Lam Dong, and Binh Phuoc.
Cat Tien National Park has various fauna and flora, including rare animals and plants, expansive grass fields, and streams. Visitors can also explore the cultures of local communities, including the Chau Ma and Stieng people, within the national park.
