With many distinct subspecies of Black-throated Sunbird, Grey-headed Parrotbill, Blue-winged Minla, Rufous-backed and Black-headed Sibias, Spot-breasted Laughingthrush and Cutia, Dalat Plateau is one of the five endemic bird areas (EBAs) in Vietnam.
