We will be watching bald eagles nesting and flying above the beautiful Skagit River in Cascade Mountain Range. From the viewing areas along the river between Rockport and Newhalem we will be able to spot the bald eagles in their nests and see them in action hunting fish, birds, and animals. We will also learn about the bald eagles at the Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center in Rockport and we will see some beautiful waterfalls and pools in Newhalem and Diablo Lake in the North Cascade National Park.
On the drive to and from Seattle we will see beautiful forests and mountains. We will visit the logging town of Arlington and drive through the Suak Suiattle Indian Tribe Reservation near the old town of Darrington.
