What To Expect
No two tours with Evergreen Escapes are the same! Our guides craft itineraries that reflect the best of what the Park has to offer that day, including group interests and dynamics. Please note that the itinerary outlined is a SAMPLE of potential destinations that could be included in the tour.
Experience Mount Rainier's highlights on a day tailored to you. Our TripAdvisor "Hall of Fame" guides run the only day tours permitted to explore more than a mile from the park road as the National Park is ecologically important & delicate. The U.S. Park Service restricts other tour companies - our competitors offer "road tours." We are professional nature educators (not just bus drivers) that have dedicated our lives to artful travel.
Our all-inclusive small-group day trip is limited to just 10 travelers.

Important info
Public transportation options are available nearby. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Please wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking. Waterproof boots required October-June. Please reach out to us for rental options.. Warm clothing is recommended during winter months (jacket, sturdy shoes, hat, gloves, layers). Note: Severe winter weather (rare) may result in road closures and other unpredictable changes to the itinerary - our talented guides adjust accordingly.. If you have dietary restrictions, please inform us at least 48 hours before your tour departure. This is a sample itinerary - depending on the season, we may visit other sections of the Park entirely.. Operates in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately.. All travelers must be 10 years or older.. This is a public small group tour. There may be other travelers on this tour with you, up to a total of 10 guests.
What's included
National Park Entrance fees.. Additional warm clothing available upon request.. Seasonal picnic lunch from a local female owned caterer! We'll find a quiet spot outside (weather permitting) for a picnic and big views of the mountain!. Lots of snacks, sparkling water, and water provided.. Award-winning local naturalist guide!. Coffee and/or Tea. Pick-up and drop-off at various downtown Seattle hotels!. Use of snowshoes and poles (during winter months).

Meeting Point
This is our default meeting location for anyone staying outside of our legal pick up area. We'll meet you outside the front entrance!
We'll pick you up where you're staying in Downtown Seattle including hotels and airbnbs!. If you are staying outside our legal pick up zone, we are happy to meet you at our default pick up location—Sheraton Grand (1400 6th Ave). If you're unsure whether your hotel or rental is part of the downtown corridor, give us a call and we can confirm whether your hotel is included!
We also make quick stops near SeaTac Airport or Tacoma when requested.
We will call/text/email the afternoon of the day prior to your tour to confirm your pick-up location and exact pick-up time. No need to check-in before we contact you (unless you have a question, of course!).
