Chef Melanie brings nearly two decades of experience in restaurant management to her cooking classes. With a deep understanding of kitchen operations and exceptional interpersonal skills, Chef Melanie created a fun, hands-on cooking experience that is as informative as enjoyable. This sushi-making class is held at a lively local spot in Austin known for its vibrant atmosphere. In this class, you'll make a Veggie Roll with sushi rice, nori, cucumber, cream cheese and avocado; a California Roll with sushi rice, nori, imitation crab, avocado, and cucumber; and a Tuna Roll with sushi rice, nori, cucumber, and fresh ahi tuna. You'll also experiment with assorted condiments and garnishes, including spicy mayo, soy, ginger, wasabi, roasted black sesame, and Japanese 7-pepper spice. The session concludes with enjoying your delicious sushi creations.
