What To Expect

Kayaking with us on Old Hickory Lake allows you to observe the diverse wildlife including bald eagles, great blue herons, ospreys, turtles and many more that call the lake home. Our tour guide will lead you along the way, providing interesting facts about the area, and helping point out the various wildlife along our paddle. The tour also boasts some of the most scenic views in the area, with tree-lined shores, rocky cliffs, and stunning sunsets that are sure to take your breath away.

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual). This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. Once entering the park you will go past the Visitor Center building and through the gates. You will drive a short distance down to Deer Run Road and turn right. Head down, through the campsites and there will be a green fence on your left, park just in front of the fence labeled "overflow parking"!
