The Christmas Tree at the Rockefeller Center lights up on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving and remains lit until the first week of January.. Skating at Rockefeller Center has a fee, but skating at Bryant Park is free, although you have to pay for skate rental. . Infants (0-1) are free
