New York State law requires that all children be restrained in an appropriate child restraint system while riding in a motor vehicle until they are 8 years old. Starting November 1, 2019, all children under 2 years old must ride in a rear-facing car seat.. Bus drivers are not required to provide seats for children and the activity provider will not be responsible if you are unable to access the bus. To ensure that your child has a seat, you must bring your own, or inform the activity provider well in advance
