What To Expect

The family-friendly rodeo and live music series starts the first weekend in March and continues each Saturday through the last weekend in November.Upon arrival, you will be directed onto the rodeo grounds for a true Texas experience, where you can enjoy delicious Texas BBQ while sipping a cold drink, all the while taking in some good ol' country music. Roam around the Western-themed grounds where you'll find vendors selling cowboy hats, leather goods, jewelry, and more.If an adrenaline rush is what you're after, the mechanical bull lets you put your bull-riding skills to the test. Try your best to hang on for 8 seconds. A life-size, stuffed bucking bull makes for perfect photo opportunities during your visit. After all the food and fun, make your way into the covered arena for a professional rodeo, including an opening ceremony with longhorn cattle entrance, award-winning drill team, a presentation of the flags, bull riding, team-roping and barrel-racing speed events, mutton bustin' and calf scramble for the kids, and much more.Following the rodeo, you can boot-scoot in the covered pavilion to a live country and western band who will play for hours.

What to remember

Important info

Know in advance:

  • The gates open at 5:00PM, pre-show starts at 7:00PM, rodeo begins at 7:30PM, and the Live Band and Dance begins at 9:00PM
  • You'll need to present your ticket to the gate attendant from your car and from there you'll be directed where to park or drop off if using ride-share
  • For General Admission the stands start to fill up as early as 6:30PM. Depending on your arrival time, there may be a line of cars to get to our gate attendants and it does take time to park and walk to the rodeo grounds so please plan accordingly
  • The rodeo will go on rain or shine
  • Dress for the weather. While the arena and most of the gathering places are covered, they are open-air, so dress comfortably, keeping the weather in mind. We recommend comfortable shoes like boots or tennis shoes
  • Food and beverage is not included with the ticket. Reservations are highly encouraged if you would like to dine at Tejas Steakhouse. There are also walk up concession-style areas on the rodeo grounds where you'll find hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ plates, BBQ sandwiches, and more.
