What To Expect

Want to learn how to surf? There’s no better place to start than Hawaii, where the art of surfing has been cultivated for centuries. Get a fun-filled introduction with this 2-hour lesson at Barbers Point, a beach on the west side of Oahu that has good waves and no crowds. Your expert instructor shows you the basics to get you up on the board and catching waves. Choose a private one-on-one lesson or a small-group lesson with no more than four people per instructor.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Minimum age is 12 years for group bookings. Minimum age is 5 years for private bookings

Surf Gear such as reef shoes, surfboard, leash, long-sleeved rash guard.. Experienced lifeguard, CPR certified instructors.. Use of board and other necessary equipment. 1-hour surf lesson with a qualified instructor. Never more than 4 students/instructor.

Head down Coral Sea Rd (1.9 mi) just pass Tripoli Rd. you will see a cattle guard gate on the left side,
(Gate open on weekends). Please park outside and walk through the left side of gate straight up to the beach a you will see our Surf HNL tents.
