This snowshoeing experience in Rocky Mountain National Park has been my most popular activity because it is for women who are snowshoeing for the first time or women who prefer to snowshoe on gentle, mostly flat terrain.
Snowshoes and trekking poles are provided along with a 20 minute tutorial on how to use the gear.
This activity is a nice mix of views ranging from sub-alpine lakes, forests, sweeping mountain views, and wildlife.
Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Meet in the parking lot by the Veterans Memorial next to the river. I'll be in my grey Mazda CX5 SUV. You'll then follow me in your vehicle to the trailhead which is about a 30 minute drive one way. The tour begins and ends at the trailhead.
Each participant will be required to sign a risks form.
