Exploring Tahoe National Forest is a wonderful activity any time of the year and at any time of day. There is an extra level of uniqueness and specialty due to this experience taking place under the moon and starlit sky. The reflective light from the snow illuminates the forest allowing us to explore without any use of headlamps. Snow crystals flicker with the light on the surface of the snow. Constellations and bright stars blanket the sky above.
Service animals allowed. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels
