What To Expect
Get up close and personal with the famous Sausalito Floating homes. Enjoy an one hour guided tour to explore the docks and even peek inside two homes. Our private tour offer insights into the richness of floating home living and engage in meaningful historical conversations with guides. You’ll also see a few of the battered survivors from the old era of improvised houseboats of the past with luxurious multilevel vessels with sweeping water views.
Guests will enjoy bonus time in Sausalito to enjoy world-class dining, artists, and boutiques before returning to San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf by included van or ferry.
This tour will typically start with an early morning assigned time Alcatraz Ferry ride to step foot on the island ($46 value). Guests will have at least two hours to explore the Alcatraz cell house and experience the audio tour.
Some dates start with mid morning Sausalito first and then end with a late in day Alcatraz. We will assign the order of the days events.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. All areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair accessible. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Guests can depart Alcatraz Island back to Pier 33 every 30 minutes on scheduled boats
