What To Expect
The Cosmic Ashtray is a geologic wonder located in Sothern Utah's Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. This formation was carved through years of friction and sand. This tour is located deep into the heart of the Grand Staircase. Travel by 4x4 vehicle to a trailhead. Then hike 4 miles through the desert to arrive at this amazing geologic wonder. This tour will require hikers to be in good physical condition.

Service animals allowed. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness. This tour includes travel to and from the location and it is included in the 8hr total tour time.
