This is not just a tour of Grand Canyon...this is a life-changing experience centered around reconnecting with the great outdoors. Join me in witnessing the natural world in a way that you have never experienced before.
Our time together will be spent on the South Rim of Grand Canyon, hiking the beautiful Kaibab Trail to Cedar Ridge for lunch. We will cover about 5 miles in total, 3 of which will be on the Kaibab Trail after a 1-mile warmup walk to the trailhead.
This is an amazing, family-friendly way to be introduced to Grand Canyon in a safe and controlled manner. We will take our time getting out of the Canyon and take as many breaks as needed (or wanted)...this is not an endurance event and in the summer we are regularly faced with 100F+ temps. We will be making several stops along the way, including "Ooh-Ahh Point" for a snack and photo break.
Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Transportation options are wheelchair accessible. All areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
If meeting at the Park, we will meet at the village market at the main entrance, just outside the sliding doors.
