Experience the beauty of winter during the summer on this 90-minute helicopter and sledding tour outside of Seward, Alaska. Helicopter into a professional dog camp on top of the ancient Godwin Glacier and meet a team of 20 dogs and 2 expert mushers while learning the ins and outs of Alaska’s state sport. Ride along on an easy, 2-mile dog sled ride, meet the Alaskan huskies, learn more about how these beautiful dogs are raised, then play in the snow and cuddle with the puppies.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Due to FAA regulations there is a 290lb weight limit per seat including any gear a guest is carrying. Seats and helicopters are assigned based on balancing the weight of the helicopter for safety, although an effort is made to accommodate guest preference. Child pricing is for those under 12 years old and infants are considered babies under 24 months
Guests traveling by vehicle are encouraged to meet at our departure location (20 minutes before departure), which is only a few minutes drive from downtown Seward. Free parking is available to the front and side of our office, spots are even large enough for RVs.
