This 2-Day Lake Mburo National Park Wildlife Safari is a short Uganda Safari that takes you to one of Uganda's smallest National parks to meet your safari needs as a busy traveller but would like to explore Uganda's abundant Wildlife. The Lake Mburo National Park is about a 4-5-hour drive making it the closest park to Kampala or Mbarara. The park is home to over 68 mammal species such as buffaloes, bush pigs, and leopards and is famous for having large numbers of Zebras as well as various bird species. The park also has great sceneries starting from the rolling hills, and the lush forests to the Savannah grasslands, and seasonal swamps to lakes. There are 5 lakes in the park where by you can engage in sport fishing for opportunities to catch a large tilapia and other fish species, also large numbers of hippos occupy the lakes. While in the park on your, Night Game drives you might not want to miss out on seeing the leopards, hyenas, and side-stripped jackals if lucky.
