Half-Day Photo Tour in Zalissya National Nature Park

Zalissia Hunting Reserve was founded in 1957 on the left bank of the Desna River not far from Kyiv.

The USSR leaders and even heads of other countries used to choose this beautiful corner of untouched nature for their rest. Many communist rulers, including Leonid Brezhnev, Nikita Khrushchev, Fidel Castro, and afterwards state officials of modern Ukraine came to hunt here. Not surprisingly, it was almost unreal for common people to get into the reserve until 2014.
