This tour will take you to the oldest and the biggest cathedral in Ukraine,
Kiev Pechersk Lavra, also known as the Kiev Monastery of the Caves.
It is a historic Orthodox Christian monastery which gave its name
to one of the city districts in Kiev.
You will see the most beautiful churches and explore the caves with mummified remains of the Saints from 11th century.
Ukrainian people are very religious and you will have a chance to learn more about Orthodox.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Not recommended for people with claustrophobia to go to the caves.. Visiting the caves will be quite difficult for overweight people and those who have problems with the knees.
