Zanzibar diving experiences from the North coast

* 1 Dive - half-day local dive * Discover scuba diving - 20 to 30 Minutes theory training , followed by 20 minutes pool plus confined water training * 2 Dives - 1 day * 4 Dives - 2 days * 6 Dives - 3 days * Scuba Diver Course - This is a 2-day course. On day 1: 2-3 hours watching a movie and completion of modules, followed by 1-2 hours of pool/confined water training. On day 2: 2 dives to 12 meters maximum * 8 Dives - 4 days * Open Water Diver Course E-learning - The online theory is checked and marked. Day 1: 2 hours of pool/confined water training, followed by 2 local dives to 12 meters. Day 2: 2 dives to 18 meters usually at Mnemba Atoll. Plus, a final exam on returning from Mnemba * Advanced Open Water Diver Course - This is a 2-day course with 5 dives. On Day 1: 2 dives. Day 2: 3 dives, with a night dive as a usual option. Deep and Navigation dives are compulsory * 10 - Dives - 5 days * Rescue Diver Course - This is 2-day course. Day 1: 2-3 hours theory, flowed by land base rescue scenarios. Day 2: 3-4 hours of rescue scenarios in confined Water * Open Water Diver Course - This is a 3-day course. On day 1: 3-4 hours watch a movie, and completion of modules. On day 2: 2 hours pool/confined water training, followed by 2 local dives to 12 meters. On day 3: 2 dives to 18 meters usually at Mnemba Atoll. Final exam on returning from Mnemba * Divers are required to show a valid PADI - Diving Qualification * The pickup area coverage includes: Kendwa and Nungwi * The minimum age for participants is 12 years old apart from the advanced course with a minimum age of 18 * Please note, children are not allowed in the following courses: Advanced Open Water Diver Course and Rescue Diver Course * Please note, if you decide to go to Mnemba Atoll or Leven Banks, an additional charge of USD 30.00, per person per day, has to be paid on.site for each package/course
