What To Expect

The tour will depart from Kendwa and Nungwi and will take about two hours. Come with your family or friends and enjoy this amazing dhow cruise.The first stop will be at a coral reef and if you like you can jump into the crystal clear water and explore the underwater wonderland through your goggles.Get back on board the dhow, watch the boatsmen setting the sail and you will continue the cruise with an enjoyable cold drink in your hand and some light snacks watching the sun dip below the horizon.

Extra fees to be paid on-site:

  • The transfers are included in the price from the North Coast hotels only (Nungwi and Kendwa). An additional transport fee applies if you stay in other areas in Zanzibar. 120 USD from South coast, 80 USD from North East coast hotels (minimum 2 persons) to be paid in cash on-site

Know in advance:

  • After booking, you will receive the contact info of the local operator to confirm the pickup time and location
  • Infants up to 3 years are free of charge

Remember to bring:

  • Please bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, goggles, a towel, and flip-flops. Mask, snorkel and fins are provided, however you are welcome to bring your own snorkeling gear if you wish
