This is the deepest lake in the area, its depth its 97m deep and covers 4.2km square kilometer. It is the result of the volcanic activity and its roughly 250000 years old. The lake is 75% in Tanzania and 25% Kenya. There is a lot of good nature you can find around the lake from the bedrock which is the result of the volcanic activity. Also the lake is home to unique birds and fishes which can only be found on this lake in the world.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Suitable for all physical fitness levels
