The Great Wildebeest Safari, which lasts for 8 days, was designed to follow the Great Serengeti Wildebeest migration during the time between December and April when they give birth to calves. We will focus on the Lake Ndutu region, as well as the Southern and Central Serengeti National Park regions, where the majority of the wildebeest are often found. The renowned Ngorongoro Crater will also be visited on this tour.
Over 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles live in the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and they follow the wildebeest migration seeking new pasture. Listen to the unique sounds of more than 6 million hooves pounding the Serengeti’s vast grasslands to experience African wildlife as you had imagined it to be.
