What To Expect
This tour allows you to explore the ancient city of Ephesus and see how the Romans lived at the time. On your walk, you will come upon the Magnesia Gate, Odeon, Fountain of Trajan, Temple of Hadrian, Library of Celsius, Grand Theater, and the Arcadian Way. Learn about the Basilica of St. John and the Terrace Houses where the rich people lived. Your lunch will be in the style of a Roman feast and a carpet presentation will follow. You will be able to shop at this time. NOTES: Guests must be able to walk approx. 1.5 miles and this tour is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties or using a wheelchair. Guests must walk across scaffolding with Plexiglas flooring at the Terrace Houses.
