The 8 000-year-old ruins of Ephesus the Virgin Mary's supposed former home and the Temple of Artemis - you'll see all three on this tour of Kusadasi's big-name landmarks. Your first stop is the House of the Virgin Mary. It's believed that Saint John - one of Jesus' disciples - brought Mary here in her later years. You can take a look inside the chapel and drink from a nearby water fountain - Christians believe it has special healing powers. From here you'll take a look around Ephesus an ancient Roman city that's filled with marble ruins. You'll wander around the mosaic-filled terrace houses and the sea-view amphitheatre before enjoying a lunch break at a Turkish restaurant.
