"The first stop on the daily Ankara tour is a visit to the Anatolian Civilizations Museum*, where you can see numerous remnants from the Stone Age, the Neolithic Age, the Hittites, the Urartians, the Phrygians and many others; Other important sites include the Citadel of Ankara and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the burial place of Turkey's national hero who founded the modern Republic of Turkey.
