What To Expect
Start your day early with a 4.30 am pick-up from your Khao Lak hotel in a private taxi. You'll transfer to a 4x4 vehicle to navigate the challenging, steep road to Khao Kai Nui.Khao Kai Nui offers stunning views of mist rolling over the landscape. Enjoy a memorable sunrise above the clouds and take in the breathtaking scenery. A local Thai snack, along with coffee and tea, will be provided during your 2.5-hour stay at the viewpoint.Afterwards, the 4x4 vehicle will take you back down, and your private taxi will return you to your Khao Lak hotel.

- The local Thai snack provided is quite small. If you're hungry in the morning, consider bringing extra food with you
- This is not a guided tour; the local operator offers a chance to enjoy the sunrise at Khao Kai Nui. You can stay at the viewpoint for up to 2.5 hours
- There may be other visitors at the viewpoint
- Hotel transfers are by private taxi. The 4WD ride to the viewpoint, which may be shared, takes around 20-30 minutes one way
- While mist and clouds are common, they cannot be guaranteed
- Most days offer a beautiful sunrise, but this depends on the weather
- On days of heavy rain, the path to the viewpoint may be closed. In such cases, you can either reschedule or receive a full refund
