What To Expect

Tham Lod is a fascinating site known for its archaeological significance, with antiques and prehistoric remains discovered in the area. Your adventure begins with a guided tour into Tham Lod Cave, where you'll glide through the stunning cavern on a bamboo raft, illuminated by a lamp.

After exploring the cave, a delicious lunch awaits you at a local restaurant. The journey continues to Tham Plaa, also known as Fish Cave.

The tour also includes a visit to Zutongpae Bridge, a charming bamboo bridge located on the outskirts of Mae Hong Son City. Spanning about 500 meters and lined with bamboo mats two meters wide, this bridge was constructed by locals to serve the monks of Wat Tham Poo Sa Ma and the residents of Ban Gung Mai Sak. In the Shan language, "Zutongpae" translates to 'success,' and it is believed that crossing this bridge will help fulfill your dreams.
