Please note: The number of boats allowed to leave Laos ports is solely regulated by the Lao government and is beyond our control. During the high season (November to February). Some days may be very busy, and the boats may be crowded, which may affect comfort. We ask for your understanding and recommend that you plan and prepare accordingly before booking this trip. You must be on the boat for at least 6 hours. If you have any health issues, such as knee pain, heel pain, or osteoarthritis, please consider this before booking. Slow boats will carry about 100-200 passengers on board. This boat is shared with local tourists. The boat will not stop at any other point except Pak Bang.

Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Important Travel Notice (Effective from 27 October 2025): Please note that, due to current border regulations between Thailand and Laos, travelers holding passports from Israel, the Philippines, Türkiye, and Indonesia are not permitted to cross the Chiang Khong – Huay Xai border checkpoint. As a result, travelers from these countries cannot join this tour from Thailand to Laos. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your kind understanding.
