What To Expect
Our sanctuary encompasses an entire mountainside. This is as close as possible to seeing elephants in the wild in a sanctuary. It is a non-commercial experience. We have two missions: one is to care for and protect the elephants and to ensure our guests have an educational and entertaining experience. Our guest services can be summed up in one sentence: It's All About You.
Elephant Retreat Sanctuary is located in the northern mountains of Chiang Mai. Take a journey into what many call the Jurassic Park of Thailand.- From enjoying an authentic Thai lunch amidst elephants to watching the Mahouts bathing with them and capturing these moments in free downloadable photos, it’s a day packed with unforgettable experiences.

Important info
Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. This activity requires guests to have good mobility.

Meeting Point
Guests will receive an email by 7:45 AM with their exact position in the queue. Pick-up will be between 8:00 - 9:00 AM. The driver will exit the vehicle and meet guests in the lobby.
