What To Expect

Witness the magic of Chiangmai as we prepare to welcome you to the CAD Countdown 2025 event (Dec. 30 and 31, 2024). Get ready to engage in cultural activities and fireworks shows.

Timeline:

17:30–18:00: Get picked up at Payap University in Chiang Mai.
18:30–19:30: Arrive and see some Lanna traditional folk art and cultural activities.
19:30–20:30: Enjoy authentic Lanna Thai food, snacks, desserts and beverages.
20:30–21:30: Enjoy the concert "Reflecting the Happiness of the Past".
21:30–22:00: Enter the ritual space in front of the grand pagoda by the lake to prepare for the ancient Lanna show.
22:00–23:40: Enjoy the show "Impression of the Glory of Lanna".
23:40–23:50: Join in with the praying and make some wishes.
24:00: Witness a spectacular international fireworks display featuring five sets:

"Cheer up Chiang Mai"
"Light of love"
"Light of faith"
"Light of hope"
"Light of happiness to light up life"

The event will end after the fireworks.

What to remember

Important info

Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. All areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible. Suitable for all physical fitness levels

You will be picked up at Lanna Polytechnic Chiang Mai and transferred to the venue by bus. You should be there 10 minutes before departure.
