Koh Samet is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. This island is just a few hours' journey away, and you can unwind on this tropical paradise. Enjoy the turquoise waters, white sand beaches and the many pubs and restaurants right next to the sea. Travel in a comfortable private car with air conditioning between Bangkok and the pier, and a shared speedboat between the pier and Koh Samet. There are 2 options to choose from:Option 1: One-way transfer from Bangkok to Koh Samet (about 4 hours total travel time)Get collected at your hotel in Bangkok by private car which will bring you to the pier near Rayong in about 3 hours. At the pier, wait for the shared speedboat transfer to have enough people to do the transfer, and in just 10 minutes you will arrive at the pier in Koh Samet. (no hotel transfer in Koh Samet)Option 2: One-way transfer from Koh Samet to Bangkok (about 4 hours total travel time)Go to the pier in Koh Samet by yourself and board the shared speedboat in Koh Samet and in just 10 minutes you will be at the pier in Rayong, where a private taxi will be waiting for you. Board the car and get dropped off at your hotel in about 3 hours.

- For both options, each booking can accommodate up to four people per vehicle
- For the shared speedboat transfer to Koh Samet, it will depart if there are enough people. It might be that you have to wait a bit before the next departure, but it will not be too long
- The driver of the private car speaks a little bit of English, just enough to communicate
- If you need a quick stop, you can ask the driver during the private car ride
- Travel time might be a bit longer in case of heavy traffic in Bangkok
- There are no hotel transfers included in Koh Samet. For the one-way transfer from Bangkok to Koh Samet, the transfer will end when you arrive at the pier. You can take a local taxi there to your hotel. For the one-way transfer from Koh Samet to Bangkok, kindly ask your hotel to arrange a local taxi to the pier in Koh Samet
- Arrival time is about 4 hours after the selected departure time, though this might be a bit shorter or longer depending on traffic and waiting time
