What To Expect
This Private Tour begins with a convenient hotel pick-up from central Bangkok, followed by a scenic drive to the ancient capital located about 80 kilometers north of the city. You'll visit two of its most renowned historical sites: Wat Mahathat, famous for the iconic Buddha head entwined in the roots of a tree, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, known for its impressive outdoor Reclining Buddha, the surrounding Buddha statues.
Next, the tour takes you to the Sam Chuk 100-Year-Old Market in Suphanburi Province, where you can explore charming wooden shops and visit an award-winning local museum that showcases the rich history of the area.
A delicious lunch at a local restaurant is included, offering a chance to relax before continuing the adventure. Afterward, you'll visit a water buffalo preservation area, where you'll learn about the important role buffalos have played.
