Come and join us for an easy commented hiking tour following the footsteps of the forest people Huncokárs - a German speaking community that lived on both sides of the Little Carpathians since 18th century. You will learn why they came here, how did they live, what they believed in and what were they engaged in. The walk takes place in the forest area of Zochova Chata – most popular recreation spot of the Little Carpathians. You will learn some interesting fact and here hear some captivating stories while enjoying the walk and easy hike in the beautiful forest.
The circuit is about 9 km long and takes about 2.5-3 hours. In case you choose climing the outlook tower, the tour will take 4 hours. The terrain is easy, mainly in the forest road as well as asphalt and some muddy parts. The tour is also suitable for children and dogs. We will start & end at the same place.
Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
We will meet at the bus stop in Zochova Chata, Modra, Piesok, across the hotel Zochova Chata.
We will meet our travelers in the parking place across the bus station.
We will pick up our travellers at the station in the village of Senkvice. Direct train leaves from the Bratislava station every hour and the journey takes half an hour.
