Enjoy a half-day 2km medium intensity walk at Le Ravin de Fond Ferdinand. It covers an area of 150ha, with an altitude range of 10 - 300m with the management and protection of the Seychelles government. It was the first area on Praslin to be bought as a Coco de Mer reserve in 1894, boasting an outstanding scenic beauty that oversees five surrounding islands, including Mahé and La Digue. It also incorporates a safe stone-built trail throughout the Reserve which extends to a distance of more than 2km. The rich biodiversity includes all six endemic palm and rare endemic flora species such as Gastonia, Diospiros Seychellarum, and Aphloia seychellarum. You will also be able to see fauna species like the Seychelles Black parrot and Seychelles kestrel.
