Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress tour from Brasov, with optional visit to Peles Castle

Discover Bran Castle, known as ‘Dracula’s Castle,’ and Râșnov Fortress on this 4-hour small group tour from Braşov.Travel to Râșnov to explore its stunning 13th-century fortress and then visit Bran Castle, the turreted hilltop palace linked to Bram Stoker’s novel of Count Dracula. Walk through the spooky rooms and hear tales about Vlad the Impaler, the 15th-century noble who was imprisoned here and inspired Stoker’s blood-stained vampire.The interior of Rasnov Fortress is closed in 2021, you will see the outside and the exterior court of the castle and visit The St Bartholomew Evangelical church, the Cristian Saxon Fortified Church or Valea Cetatii Cave Instead. You will decide with the guide on the day of the tour what to visit.You have the possibility to extend your tour by 3/4 hours to include a visit to the beautifully ornate Peleș Castle. Pelisor Castle, part of the larger Peles Castle complex, is closed on Tuesdays from the middle of September to the middle of May. If you choose the Peles Castle extension in this period, you will visit Sinaia or Caraiman Monasteries instead.
