Dracula's Castle Poenari - Private Tour and Transfagarasan Road

The Poienari Fortress is currently under renovation and you cannot visit the interior.. We leave Bucharest and drive two hours to the city of Curtea de Arges where we take a break for toilet, coffee and snacks. Afterwards we will drive another 25 minutes to the Poenari Fortress (the real fortress of Vlad the Impaler) where we will have a 20-minute guided tour. After another 10 minutes we will stop at Vidraru Dam and Vidraru Lake where you will have 20 minutes free time to cross the dam on foot and look at the souvenirs. Afterwards we will drive another 2 hours to Lake Balea where we will spend 2 hours to admire splendid views and free time to have lunch and for various activities. On our way to Lake Balea we will meet wild bears. After leaving Balea Lake, we went down towards Capra Waterfall, where we will have a 20-minute break to take pictures of the landscape. We cross the Fagaras National Park again where we will see bears. We will take another break for toilet, coffee, snacks in the city of Curtea de Arges and start for Bucharest
