Your adventure of the South of Iceland will start around 8.00am when you are picked up from your pick-up location. Once at the waterfall, after a short hike, there will be a chance for a unique photo opportunity. As the waterfall is tall 196 feet, please be sure to wear waterproof clothing as we will encounter occasional water spouting. You will then move onwards through the stunning panoramic scenery of Iceland before you arrive at the Sólheimajökull glacier. This definitely should be something in everyone's bucket list, and there is no better place to do it other than Solheimajokull. Your certified guide will get you geared up and advise on all safety guidelines needed to be followed to ensure a safe and exciting hike. Next, you will make your way to Reynisfjara – the world-famous, iconic black sand beach. The beach is considered to be the most beautiful beach in Iceland because of the majestic basalt columns just off the shore, roaring waves of Atlantic ocean, and unusual black sand. Once you have a picture with Reynisfjara’s magnificent trolls, the journey will continue on to the majestic and one of the tallest waterfalls in Iceland – Skógafoss. A pathway of 527 steps leads up to the crest of the waterfall, giving you a front-row view of the South Coast lowland below. The Northern Lights phenomenon heavily depends on the weather conditions, so the exact place that you will go to is unknown until the last minute. The moment you spot the first hint of glimmering bright colors in the dark sky is always spellbinding. After an amazing show, it will be time to head back to Reykjavik around midnight for a much-needed sleep.
