The 5-Day Amazon Rainforest Exploration begins in Iquitos, Peru. It focuses on observing wildlife in the Amazon rainforest, learning about medicinal plants, jungle survival, and learning about the way of life of Amazonian Communities. If you are lucky, our jungle guide may spot anacondas, giant otters and jaguar footprint during the excursions. You will have a Full Day and Survival in the primary jungle, you will enter the pristine and remote Amazon jungle of the Tamshiyacu - Tahuayo Reserve.
You will explore the Amazon Rainforest with our jungle guides (private) to observe birds (there are more than 500 types of birds in our area), pink and gray dolphins, sloths, caimans, capybaras, monkeys (there are more than 10 species in our area), frogs, snakes, giant trees and medicinal plants. It is one of the best excursions for lovers of wildlife, birdwatching and photography.
Specialized infant seats are available. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Service animals allowed. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Curassow is only accessible by our private transports. Our transfer leaves Iquitos to the Lodge every day at 9:30 AM. And return from the Lodge to Iquitos after lunch between 1:30 to 2:00 PM. Arriving in Iquitos at approximately 4:00 PM. To comply with this itinerary, you must be in Iquitos before 9:00 AM. and for your last day your flight must depart from Iquitos after 6:00 PM.
Our new route by land and speedboat allows us to transport travelers who arrive in Iquitos until before 2 PM. If you have flights outside the time of our private transfers, just let us know to schedule an extra transportation without additional charges.
