The village is very isolated and locals mainly live off what they cultivate, such as the local chestnuts which are used in everyday cooking. Every year the locals celebrate the 'Chestnut Festival' which the village is famous for.As you return to your accommodation, you'll have one last stop at the fishing village of Câmara de Lobos.
