You'll journey along rugged mountain roads to Cabo Girão and the São Vicente valley, then stop for a wine tasting session at Quinta do Barbusano vineyard. Soak up some impressive views over the ocean waves breaking 580 metres below, then continue off-roading along quiet side roads and tracks that snake their way through São Vicente valley. Dominated by the hilltop chapel of Nossa Senhora de Fátima, the whole valley is a postcard brought to life. Red-roofed farms and villages dot the lower slopes which rise to verdant peaks all around.Finally, it's on to Quinta do Barbusano, a key local winery. You'll be treated to a tour of the hilly vineyards with an oenologist followed by a tasting of one rosé, two white and two red wines, and some nibbles.
