On this tour you’ll delve into Portugal’s Neolithic period (circa 5500 to 3000 BC) and explore several significant sites: the Outeiro Menir, the Xerez Cromlech, and the Dolmen of Olival da Pega.
The Alentejo is home to many megalithic structures, including cromlechs, menirs, and dolmens. It is during this period when agriculture emerged, along with many other significant cultural and social developments.
Your tour guides are trained archaeologists and look forward to showing you some spectacular sites from Portugal's past.
