Begin your experience at 6.00pm, with a guided tour of the Cellars. Discover the history of one of the most prestigious Port wine houses in the world and learn about the production process of Port Wine – from its origin in the Douro Valley and Quinta do Panascal, where Fonseca’s port wine is born, to its aging process and even sustainable winemaking practices.
Then, follow the visit with an unforgettable tasting session. Taste two of Fonseca’s most iconic port wines (Bin 27 and Siroco) while you experience the sound of one of the greatest symbols of Portuguese culture - Fado. For children, a grape juice from the Douro Valley is provided.

Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Alcoholic beverages are served to adults only (18+). For children, a grape juice alternative is available. We have no age limit set on our tickets, and because the pavement is traditional Portuguese tiles, it may be challenging for visitors with mobile impairments
