What To Expect
The Gerês National Park is a territory that oozes tranquility, refreshing pure air, landscapes that invade our soul, but also land of good food, good wine and genuine people.
It is impossible to get to know the area in just one day, there are more than 700km2 of practically unexplored green areas, rural villages, fresh rivers with transparent waters and breathtaking waterfalls. Castles that take us to other eras, religious sanctuaries, wild animals, enchanted forests that we don't want to leave, Roman roads that are more than 1500 years old.
We are not storytellers, we are inhabitants of the North of Portugal, who from an early age learned to appreciate what our country has to offer, we learned to respect our ancestors and the traditions of each place we go through.

Important info
Specialized infant seats are available. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Public transportation options are available nearby. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. This is a private tour/activity. Only your group/family will participate. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Portuk has the recognition and certification of a CLEAN & SAFE company attributed by TURISMO DE PORTUGAL.. We will provide a PIC NIC basket with Local and Regional products, locally produced cheeses and smoked sausages, natural juices, bread, fruit, olive oil, honey, and Fresh Vinho Verde.. Although our Pic Nic basket is fantastic, we realize that it may not satisfy everyone's taste. If you want we can recommend a restaurant (not included in price) that is more suited to your interests.. Please note that the 4th seat in the case of an SUV or the 8th seat in the case of a MiniVan can be a little tight. If we have availability, we will upgrade to a higher category vehicle. . It's very important to bring walking/hiking shoes. Flip flops can be very dangerous while walking in nature.
