We begin this walking tour at one of the oldest pastry shops in Sintra, Sapa. You will be able to try the famous "queijada" pastry from there and a coffee whilst enjoying the views of the town and the National Palace. Then you will walk towards the historical centre, where on the way you will see some interesting monuments such as the Mourish Castle. In the historical centre you will have time to browse around as we head to Villa Sassetti, a less known palace in Sintra. As we explore the area you, if the weather allows it, you will be able to enjoy some great views from up there where you can see the Atlantic Ocean.
Afterwards we will head to the mystical Quinta da Regaleira and explore the grounds such as walking down the initiation well into the underground caves and its beautiful palace.
Finally, after visiting Quinta da Regaleira you will head back to the historical centre where you will have a special cod treat and a drink to finish off the tour.
