What To Expect

Wonderful excursion, with Pena Palace, Sintra beautiful medieval streets, views of Cape Roca, and then finally amazing Cascais coast.
Explore the streets, taste local pastries, take pictures. Learn about our history, life in Portugal and our food - our guide will answer everything you want to know.
Departing from Lisbon, small group (max 8) on a Premium Van - Pickup in Lisbon, select from hotel list or the closest point.

Visit unique palaces, enjoy UNESCO monuments and, later, visit beautiful Cascais. After a nice lunch and walk by the beach, we will take you back to the starting point, at the end of the day (16h30-17h).

We will visit Pena Park (price 10€), for gardens views and chapel, to enjoy architecture and take photos, only not seeing palace rooms inside.

Important info

Specialized infant seats are available. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. To visit Pena Park & Grounds, you will need tickets - please book before, to enjoy the exterior views, architecture of the palace, chapel and gardens. Good to skip lines. Tour with 1 or 2 languages. LGBTIQ+ friendly. Sintra is often foggy or colder than Lisbon, particularly early morning, so please check forecast. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as we will walk at some of the sites to visit

Meeting Point

Pickup from 7h40 (at city centre hotels) - we will confirm time the day before. In case we have no parking access or your hotel is not in the centre, we might ask you to walk up to 5 min to a nearby meeting-point. If your hotel is not listed, choose the closest from where you are staying, or select one of the meeting points (available from the list).
Maximum waiting is 5 minutes, for both pickup and after meeting points during the visits, to avoid delaying the tour.
